    Breakfast at hotel Later city sightseeing of Old and New Delhi Visit the 7 th city of Delhi, Shahjahanabad (Old Delhi), built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan (1639-48 AD) after he shifted his capital from Agra to Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat on the banks of the river Yamuna, Mahatma Gandhi’s Memorial, where he was cremated following his assassination in January 1948. An eternal flame burns 24 hours. Later proceed for New Delhi. Visit the mausoleum of emperor Humayun - a forerunner of the Mughal style of architecture. Drive past the India Gate (war memorial dedicated to the lives of laid down by the Indian soldiers), the president's residence - formerly the Viceroy's Palace, parliament House and the Secretariat buildings, - an interesting blend of the Victorian and 20th century architecture.     Day 6 : JAIPUR

    Morning excursion to Amber fort with Elephant/Jeep ride; Amber is a classic, romantic Rajasthani Fort Palace. The rugged, time-ravaged walls of the Fort may not look beautiful from the outside, but the interior is a virtual paradise. Miniatures painted on the walls depict hunting and war scenes, apart from festivals. Precious stones and mirrors are embedded into the plaster. Inside the Fort visit the Jag Mandir or the Hall of Victory. Inside the Jag Mandir is the famed Sheesh Mahal - a room with all the four walls and ceiling completely embedded with glittering mirror pieces, which were specially imported from Belgium during that period. Enroute to Amber Fort, you will have a brief photography stop at Hawa Mahal - the Palace of Winds. Afternoon visit to the Maharaja's City Palace, the former Royal residence, part of it converted into a museum. A small portion is still used by the Royal family of Jaipur. Built in the style of a fortified campus, the palace covers almost one-seventh in area of the city. One of the major attractions in the museum is the portion known as Armoury Museum housing an impressive array of weaponry-pistols, blunder busses, flintlocks, swords, rifles and daggers.Later visit the Jantar Mantar, which is the largest stone and marble crafted observatory in the world. Situated near the gate of the city palace, the observatory has 17 large instruments, many of them still in working condition. Overnight at hotel

    Day 8 : BIKANER - SODAKORE BY SURFACE 278 Kms / 5-6 Hrs

    After breakfast visit Junagarh Fort. Sightseeing tour of Bikaner, deep in the desert, on ancient caravan routes;the city is bolstered by imposing walls and has a 16 th century fort housing old palaces, temples and a mosque. Two life-like effigies of elephants flank the façade of the entrance to the fort. Founded by Raja Rai Singh, the fort is distinguished by its long range of 37 pavilions. A line of balconies and oriel windows of varying designs lend it a graceful dignity. An enormous arched doorway leads to the Joramal Temple in a spacious courtyard.     Day 9 : SODAKORE

    After breakfast excursion to Jaisalmer, upon arrival proceed for the sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer. Visit the various Havelis, known for the Silavats (Stone carvers) of Jaisalmer is justly famous. It attained its peak of excellence during the 18 th and the 19 th centuries, rivalling the quality of the carved marble of the Taj Mahal at Agra. Among the famous havelis are the Patwon ki haveli (House of the Brocade Merchants) Nathmalji ki haveli (The mansion of Nathmalji), Salim Singh haveli etc. Visit wander through Jaisalmer’s narrow lanes and to visit the small silversmith’s shops, the stalls selling leather craft goods. After drive upto the Citadel to witness the Sunset on the desert, which is a spell bounding experience. This afternoon return to hotel. After short break, late afternoon enjoy jeep ride through sand dunes and from a certain point enjoy camel ride through the nearby sand dunes by sun set. Overnight at the hotel

    Day 11 : JODHPUR-RANAKPUR-BHINDER BY SURFACE 290 Km

    Breakfast at the hotel Morning depart for Bhindar en route visiting Famous Ranakpur Jain Temples. Ranakpur, the wonderful 3 temples of the Jain sect dating back to the 14th/15th century. The unforgettable main Temple dedicated to Adinatha the first Tirthankar (1439) built in marble took 65 years to complete. It is one of the five holy Jain pilgrimage centres, and has one of the best temple complexes. Continue drive to Bhindar, upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel

    Breakfast at the hotel Morning excursion to Udaipur. Upon arrival in Udaipur visit City Palace &Sehelion Ki Bari. City Palace, once entirely the home of Mewar’s rulers, is today largely a museum run by the Maharana Mewar Foundation. It actually consists of four major and several minor palaces forming a single breathtaking facade overlooking the Pichola lake. Visit the Jagdish Mandir, close by the main gate of City Palace, is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Later visit the Sahelion ki Bari (Garden of the maids of honor) and the BharatiyalokkalaMandal. Enjoy approximate 1 hour boat ride on Lake Pichola. 4 km long and 3 km broad, surrounded by splendid hills, Palace, temples, bathing Ghats and embankments. Visit the Island Palace Jag Niwas which is beautiful during Sun set (Boat ride on Lake Pichola is subject to water level in Lake). Alternatively we shall provide Eklingji&Nadga. This afternoon return to Bhindar en route visiting Akola Block printing house is a sight to watch. Continue drive to Bhindar. Overnight at hotel
